The Nomadesk Private Software Appliance can be installed on any modern hypervisor.
The Nomadesk team has verified and officially supports the following virtualization platforms:

  • Azure - Microsoft's cloud computing platform
  • Nutanix - An enterprise cloud platform that integrates compute, virtualization, storage, networking, and security.
  • Esxi - An enterprise-class, type-1 hypervisor developed by VMware for deploying and serving virtual computers.
  • Hyper-V - A native hypervisor from Microsoft that can create virtual machines on systems running Windows.
  • Proxmox - An open-source server virtualization management solution that offers the ability to manage virtual server technology with the Linux OpenVZ and KVM technology.
  • VirtualBox - A powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product perfect for testing Nomadesk.
