Upgrading the Private Cloud

Follow the steps described below to upgrade your Nomadesk Private Cloud Software Appliance

Available Version​

When logging into the management interface the page will show if there are updates available for instance.

Status

In the screenshot above it's shown that the current Nomadesk version is 12.0.10 and that there is a 12.2.0 version available.
It also shows that the base system in this case is Ubuntu and that there are operating system updates available.

It is recommended to update your base systems before upgrading your private cloud, this way it is also guaranteed that you are running the latest installer version.

Once done click the Upgrade Available link.

Upgrading​

On the upgrade page, make sure to read the instructions.
It is recommended to take a snapshot of your environment before beginning the upgrade.

When using an external database, make sure to also take a snapshot or database dump before initiating the upgrade procedure.
