External Storage NFS

Using NFS (Network File System) is crucial for ensuring high availability in your cluster. NFS provides shared storage that all nodes in the cluster can access, allowing consistent access to critical data across the entire system.

Without shared storage like NFS, the joining process for new nodes is blocked, as these nodes would be unable to synchronize or access the necessary configuration files, logs, or other shared resources. This could prevent seamless scaling and compromise the cluster's ability to maintain high availability.

By configuring NFS properly, you ensure that all nodes, including new ones, can access the shared data required for proper operation, reducing downtime and improving the resilience of the system.
